‘Extraordinary’ for PM to admit motive behind suspending Senator Payman
Liberal MP Keith Wolahan says it was “extraordinary” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese admitted his motive for suspending Labor Senator Fatima Payman.
Ms Payman has been indefinitely suspended from the party’s caucus.
“His inside voice has come out loud,” Mr Wolahan told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“That was an extraordinary thing to admit, that his motive for doing this was that he was annoyed that the distraction from the talking points of the day.
