Michael J. Fox says his Coldplay Glastonbury appearance was 'mind blowing' after he moved fans to tears
Coldplay took over Glastonbury on Saturday, playing to a record breaking 100,000 strong crowd on the penultimate day of the festival.
The stand-out moment of their epic performance occurred when the four-man band brought legendary actor Michael J. Fox onto the main stage as a surprise guest.

The Back To The Future star played the guitar alongside the band, in his wheelchair, during their hit songs Fix You and Humankind, in a moving performance, which he said said was 'mind-blowing'.
'Glastonbury, all the love and thanks to the @coldplay team who took such great care of us,' the Hollywood actor wrote in a post on Instagram. 'And many thanks to Chris, Will, Johnny, Guy and Phil'.
'Oh yeah in case you were wondering…it was f------ mind-blowing. There is a time for every band and a band for every time. This is @coldplay’s time', he wrote to his 2.3 million Instagram followers.
Chris Martin tugged on the heartstrings of the sea of people gathered to watch the London band perform, when he delivered an emotional speech, crediting Michael for Coldplay's existence.
'The main reason why we're in a band is because of watching 'Back to the Future', so thank you to our hero forever and one of the most amazing people on Earth, Mr Michael J. Fox. Thank you so much, Michael'.
The actor is currently in a wheelchair as the result of Parkinson's disease, which he has been battling since 1991.
Michael was just 29-years-old when he was first diagnosed, after developing a tremor in his pinky finger during the making of rom com Doc Hollywood.

Coldplay gathered a record breaking crowd in Somerset for their headline set, ahead of their sold-out gigs in Croke Park in August.
The took a quick break from their Music of the Spheres world tour to perform on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
