'How Much Can We Grow?' Jayden Daniels Reveals No. 1 Thought
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has hit the ground running in his first NFL offseason, and the rookie is looking forward to what is to come.
Now, on a break before training camp, it is time to review what was learned at OTAs and minicamp in preparation for padded practices in a few weeks.
But this is the first NFL offseason Daniels has experienced and there will be a lot of firsts for him in year one, however what is he looking forward to the most?
“Just the first game,” Daniels said via ESPN. “The first game of the season, obviously you got training camp, being able to go through my first training camp. How much we can grow as a team, obviously we got a lot of new players, new staff, new ownership. So it’s exciting to just see what we can do in the future.”

Excitement is building around the Commanders franchise and their fanbase for what Daniels and this new-look offense could produce in year one under Kliff Kingsbury.
While there will be bumps in the road, Washington's front office, led by Adam Peters, has gone about putting veterans around Daniels to help him navigate the tricky aspects of being a pro quarterback.
With Kingsbury dialing up the plays and Daniels having Terry McLaurin, Zach Ertz, Brian Robinson Jr., Austin Ekeler, and Jahan Dotson, along with an improved offensive line, it just what the Commanders will look like, makes for an exciting thought.
But for now, Daniels needs to get through training camp and come to terms with Kingsbury's system as he embarks on his first NFL season, which is one he hopes will be successful.
