Vegas Golden Knights goaltending prospect Carl Lindbom is set to make the jump to North America for the 2024-25 season.
Hockeynews.se was the first to report it.
Lindbom was the Golden Knights' seventh-round pick in the 2021 NHL draft. Since the draft, he's spent time in the SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan in Sweden. He was also part of two World Junior teams for Sweden and played in seven games 2022-23 tournament.
Last year on loan from Djurgardens IF, the 21-year-old posted a 9.11SV% and 2.12GAA in 26 games with Farjestad IF in the SHL.
The Henderson Silver Knights lack goaltender depth and he will have the opportunity to play in many AHL games.
He could also get starts in the ECHL with the likely soon-to-be-announced Tahoe Knight Monsters.
Lindbom is listed at 6'1 and 190 lbs. He signed his entry-level contract back on June 1, 2023, which carries an $840,000 AAV.
