Fortnite players have spotted a ghost-like creature moving around the Chapter 5 island, and it's made them question if and how this could be related to the next in-game event. This guide will tell players everything they need to know about The Wanderer, the mysterious humanoid figure walking through the Battle Royale map.
Who Is The Wanderer?
Before The Wanderer appeared on the island, it was already a discussed subject among the Fortnite community, as it had been teased a few times before and it had appeared in several leaks as well.
Very little information has been discovered about The Wanderer. However, it is clear that they are a ghostly, hooded figure who roams around the Battle Royale map. The Wanderer can be seen among Megalo Don's crew in the "Nitro Fusion Megalo Don" loading screen, a reward available on Page 14 of the Battle Pass. On top of this, Megalo Don's radio reports reveal that the Megalo Don wants to keep this entity as an ally, adding to the theory that The Wanderer is a source of evil.
Gamers can talk to certain NPCs on the map and ask if they've seen anything strange lately, and they will comment that they feel like they're being watched and that it makes them feel uneasy.
Where to Find The Wanderer in Fortnite
The Wanderer spawned on the Fortnite island on Tuesday, June 25, and they can be found near six different locations:
- Coastal Comms
- Estate Station
- Placid Pumps

- South of Dam Bridge
Gamers will only be able to see The Wanderer in Fortnite if they keep their distance; if a player gets too close, they will disappear.
