Your special Summer Solstice 2021 horoscope is here: Revelations and truth will inspire you this season

Your special Summer Solstice 2021 horoscope is here: Revelations and truth will inspire you this season

Summer Solstice for many is a magical day. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is when the Sun enters Cancer and the North Pole tips toward the Sun. It will occur on Sunday, 20 June at 11:32 p.m. EDT. The days are long, and the nights are short. The Sun, Apollo in Greek Mythology, is nurturing life on Earth.

The Summer Solstice period covers the next three months until the Fall Equinox in September. The first important event of this season will be Jupiter's retrograde that commences on June 20. He has been moving in direct motion for the past nine months, and he is in a very powerful position now. This will bring about a four month pause, when you can do some valuable research, perfect your plans and get everything in order and ready for October when he returns to direction motion. Whether you know it or not, Jupiter aka Zeus is offering you a crucial opportunity.

Neptune aka Poseidon will change direction as well, in his case on June 25. Neptune is a symbol of compassion and love. This is a year of transition as we enter more deeply into the Age of Aquarius. We will begin to feel a deeper sense of the unity of humanity in this time.

Uranus the Innovator reaches a powerful point on August 20 when he turns retrograde. Revelations and truth will inspire you. Some may shock you, but when handled with an objective mind, you will be inspired to reinvent yourself.

You might be pleased to hear that there will be no Mercury retrograde in the next three months. Mercury aka Hermes, is the Master of Strategy. He is busy visiting other ports of call with all your hopes, dreams and wishes loaded up, in the process of finding opportunities for you.

The Sun symbolizes the creative impulse to find fulfilment and happiness in our human experience.

Light a candle and write down all your heartfelt wishes. Look back on your list in the coming years and see which may have been fulfilled. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Here is your special Summer Solstice horoscope.

Take an objective look at your life. If you want to change something, take the bull by the horns and change it. Where you've got something that won't shift no matter what you do, there's a simple choice. Learn to live with it, or shift yourself, mentally and emotionally. The Summer Solstice will hasten the onset of greater happiness by encouraging you to leave more room in your life for spontaneity and celebration. It's not a matter of being logical. It's a matter of finding the courage to break with a tradition that has somehow become an obstacle. Prepare to discover a bright new way to see the world.

The world is full of people who feel they have to be right about everything. They can't ever concede that they may be mistaken. It can prove to be very annoying. You may ask yourself why you bother to listen. Perhaps, secretly, you're not sure how to solve a seemingly endless, aggravating problem. So you're being humble. You're willing to learn. That's good. But what's not good is that it makes you vulnerable to every passing pontificating individual with an arrogant attitude. The Summer Solstice is going to set you right on this matter. An offer of real, practical help will come that will stand out above all the rest.

You are edging toward a rare, defining moment in your life. It may be a seemingly subtle one. It may even involve you reaching a profound inner-awakening rather than enacting some colourful worldly drama. Even if that's so, it's very apparent that something big is happening thanks to the Summer Solstice. It will result in you finding far greater strength. You no longer need to live in the shadow of an old fear, nor should you worry about a seemingly impossible problem. A discovery is about to be made and a decision is finally due to be reached. After this, a pleasing new adventure can be commenced.

You're looking at a situation which seems ordinary and unexciting. Let this dispirit you and it will defeat you. Instead, be inventive and take great care what words you choose to sum up your mood or to describe your options. Think encouraging thoughts and you'll find delightful solutions. Sometimes, it's only when we face the worst that we release our best. The Summer Solstice will encourage you to think back over the difficulties you have encountered lately. For all the pain, they have led to one real ray of hope. As you now follow that back to the source, you will yet discover a priceless treasure.

Despite all the trials and tribulations you have been through lately, you're okay where it counts. If your intentions are pure and your efforts are sincere, you are assured of getting what you truly need, no matter the odds. Trouble has simply alerted you to a problem. You now know what it is that you have to put right, all you need is a positive plan by which to do so. That's where the Summer Solstice will help you; thanks to its influence, you will come up with a solution. The more you refuse to give way to worry, the more you relax, the more you will see how to make everything a whole lot better.

There is an awful lot to think about and talk about. That's all the more reason not to get too deeply embroiled in any conversation, or too excited about any particular topic. Not matter what you think, you will think differently when you find out more information. No matter what is being said, there's always more to discuss. Be appreciative of a certain development and let it inspire you to slow down and recognize the value of other factors that deserve gratitude. The Summer Solstice will open your mind to new concepts and ideas. It will feel as though something miraculous has taken place.

You are being wise and philosophical, making judgments that reflect the highest, wisest part of yourself. At times though, you have a tendency to amplify tiny grievances and take too seriously events that do not reflect your high standards. And at this time you are taking something or someone far more seriously than you should. A certain matter is being over-dramatized. All will be fine as long as you retain a sense of perspective. The Summer Solstice will give you a fresh take. What's bothering you now will lose its importance and be replaced by something most enjoyable.

One idea is all you require. Admittedly, it needs to be the right idea. You can't just cook up any old solution and hope that it will magically adapt itself to fit the problem, whatever that turns out to be. You need to begin by doing your best to tailor a precise answer to a precise question. The idea you are contemplating makes perfect sense. Somehow the notion before you seems too good to be true. You don't need to be overly concerned about any downside. The Summer Solstice is introducing you to a liberating revelation. You can look forward to greater security, both financial and emotional.

You don't like going back on your word. Yet you cannot let yourself feel endlessly obligated to a commitment made under very different circumstances. You don't want to upset anyone by letting them down but, in many ways, you would benefit if you changed tack. Weigh up your options and make a point of considering only factors that are truly valid. Resolve not to say anything unless you are sure it's wise. This Summer Solstice will encourage you to use your heart as a guide rather than your head. Your instincts are accurate and wise. You will succeed at correcting past errors and finding a path that leads to great happiness.

You continue to be bothered by a question that you cannot answer. You have been struggling to explain or resolve it for quite some time. Whatever you do, do not get used to this situation. The fact of the matter is that though there is no way to settle the matter, it really doesn't matter itself. The Summer Solstice will soon prove you are safe to ignore an old bone of contention and just move on. Some people are difficult to talk to, and innocent remarks can be interpreted on a different level. You will see rapid improvement as you learn not to take it all so personally.

We are all a little afraid of the unknown. We prefer the familiar because we feel safe with it. So sometimes we deliberately dwell in self-imposed isolation from the truth. The Summer Solstice will guide you to making a most important discovery. Ask the questions you are half-tempted to suppress. Make an effort to learn what you suspect will be too hard to understand. Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge is power. If you use your power wisely, you can create lasting happiness for yourself and everyone you love.

People with delusions of grandeur are often confident about their opinions, while truly powerful people rarely recognize the full extent of their own authority and influence. Those who are genuinely successful can be far more conscious of their limitations, thinking about the things they can't do, not the things they can. The fact that you are riddled with doubt and uncertainty is indicative of how much strength you are now able to wield. The Summer Solstice will show you that you have a better grip on things than you realize. As soon as you decide that you are ready and willing to bring about an improvement, you will!
