The first photographs of Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik on the Young Sheldon finale are out. In early March, it was announced that The Big Bang Theory stars would be guest starring on the final episode of the series. While Parsons and Bialik have had voice cameos on Young Sheldon, this will be the first time that they will be appearing in front of the camera. On Instagram, the official account of the series teased the actors’ appearance on the finale. They captioned the post, “Unfortunately Sheldon hasn’t invented time travel yet, so we’ll just have to enjoy this sneak peek of the #YoungSheldon finale until next Thursday…”
The pictures show Parsons as the older Sheldon sitting at a desk behind his laptop. From the knicknacks around him, it can be safe to assume that he is seated in his home office. Bialik is seen in one pic, trying to find out what Sheldon is up to. One fan guessed in the comments section of the post that Sheldon’s appearance on the show could be related to him writing his autobiography.
This is the first time that Parsons and Bialik are reprising their characters after the The Big Bang Theory series finale which concluded in May 2019. However, they have been connected to the spinoff series before. Parsons is an executive producer on the comedy series and has been the narrator for seven seasons. Meanwhile, Bialik has lent her voice in two episodes of the series.
The seventh season finale of Young Sheldon starring Iain Armitage will be airing on CBS on Thursday, May 16. Indian fans can view the final episode on Amazon Prime Video a day later on May 17.

And while Young Sheldon might be ending, another spinoff series is being launched later this fall. Titled George & Mandy’s First Marriage, the new show will follow Sheldon’s brother Georgie (Jordan), his wife Mandy (Osment) trying their hand at family life in Texas.
