Ever since the release of his latest film ’12th Fail’, actor Vikrant Massey has been in the limelight for his extraordinary performance in the Vidhu Vinod Chopra-directorial. Politian Priyanka Chaturvedi also applauded the simplicity of Massey and stated that she ‘respects his success’.Â

On Monday, February 19, Priyanka shared a video on her official X handle in which Vikrant is seen narrating one of his life incidents. He reminisced about a time when his friends critiqued the state of his house. Vikrant also shared his experience of earning a substantial sum during his work in television, yet how he made the decision to step away from it in pursuit of a more peaceful life.

Vikrant Massey has been basking in the success of his last release, ’12th Fail.’ The film directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is a biographical drama based on the life of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame poverty to achieve the position of an IPS officer. The movie features Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar in lead roles. ’12th Fail’ is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Meanwhile, work-wise, after the massive success of ’12th Fail’, Vikrant Massey has been roped in for the next ‘The Sabarmati Report’. Backed by Ektaa Kapoor, the project will also feature Raashii Khanna and Riddi Dogra in key roles. The film is based on the real-life incident of 2002 — The Sabarmati Express fire — that wreaked havoc in Gujarat and shook the nation. It is slated to release in theatres on May 3, 2024.Â
