World Cup match announcement: Bafana Bafana vs Zimbabwe
Big things are facing Bafana Bafana next month. The World Cup 2026 qualifiers will kick off against Nigeria, before Zimbabwe land in the Free State province.
WORLD CUP 2026 QUALIFIERS: BAFANA BAFANA VS ZIMBABWE
While Hugo Broos‘s side will first travel to West Africa to face Nigeria in the matchday one on 3 June, the Warriors of Zimbabwe will be our visitors on 10 June. The neighbours have revealed that the match will be held at the Free State Stadium.
GROUP C
So who’s all in Bafana Bafana’s group? The list includes Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Benin and Rwanda. So how will qualification work? The group winner will directly qualify for the World Cup, while the runner-up could compete in the play-off to advance to the inter-confederation playoffs.
