Wilco Zeelenberg praised Raul Fernandez’s performance in Valencia: ‘After a season in which he struggled, he quickly gained confidence’

After showing his happiness at the start of a new chapter and the first good impressions given by Miguel Oliveira with the Aprialia RS-GP, Wilco Zeelenberg also didn’t miss the change from praising Raul Fernandez, who after a difficult season at Tech3/KTM, had good feelings.

The Team Manager of the structure that will now have Aprilia motorcycles at its disposal, in a partnership that will last at least until 2024, the person in charge looked at the spaniard’s performance with pleasure, not forgetting that he came from a very complicated season, and right away debut in MotoGP:

– Raul Fernandez was happy as well, of course he is much younger than Miguel and less experienced, but the struggle that he had over the last season where he didn’t have a good front end feeling, he improved straight away and he rolled into the corners and actually gained confidence from the first moment on.

In the tests in Valencia, remember, Fernandez was 21st with a lap in 1’31.340s, an improvement compared to the time result in the combined tests in the last GP of the year, where he made 1’31.598s.
