Joe Burrow
Last season did not exactly go according to plan for the Cincinnati Bengals as they finished the year in last place in the AFC North following a season-ending wrist injury to Joe Burrow in early November. But after some significant free agent moves this offseason, it sounds like Burrow is excited about the upcoming season.
The Bengals made a few key additions this offseason including tight end Mike Gesicki, running back Zach Moss, and offensive tackle Trent Brown. And after those additions to the roster, Joe Burrow thinks that this is a team that can get back to the playoffs and contend for a Super Bowl.
“We know we have the right people in place to reach our goals,” Burrow said according to the Cincinnati Bengals team website. “It’s just about putting all those pieces together and finding our roles to optimize what we can do.”
Burrow is still working his way back after suffering the season-ending wrist injury last year. His health will play a major role in determining just how successful the Bengals could possibly be next season. But he said that he is in “a great spot” regarding his health as he prepares for the upcoming season.
