Thursday before 6 p.m.: Dry, cloudy, and cold
6-9 p.m. Thursday: Snow starts to fall in the Omaha metro and becomes more widespread
Midnight: Widespread snow, heavy at times

6 a.m. Friday: Snow falling with north wind gusting 30-35 mph, blowing snow/low visibility likely with possible near-blizzard conditions, big travel impacts during the morning commute, wind chill 10-15 below zero
Noon Friday: Snow wraps up, but blowing snow continues with wind gusts of 30-40 mph; ground blizzard conditions are possible, especially in rural areas north of the metro, with wind chill 10-15 below zero
The majority of the area, including the Omaha metro, will see storm total snowfall of 4 to 7 inches, with isolated spots getting 8 to 10 inches.
