The theme for the art competition is “Garden Party,” according to a news release from the festival.

Students in grades kindergarten through 12 are eligible to submit their artwork for consideration in the youth art competition through Dec. 16.

“Their artwork can be inspired by ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ or it can reflect what makes a party fun. The artwork can also be what they love about nature, or they can recreate their own garden,” the news release said.

The festival will take place at Gardens North County District Park on 117th Court North, near Timber Trace Elementary and Watson B. Duncan Middle schools.

Festival attendees will be able to see work from all the finalists at the Youth Art Gallery located in the ArtiKids Zone at the two-day celebration.
