Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Jeans Review

I still vividly remember the first time I stepped into an Abercombie store 16 years ago. I was 13 years old and at the mall shopping with my mom, and I felt like I’d entered heaven. From graphic tees to tanks lined with lace, I think it’s safe to say most teens at the time loved the styles Abercrombie offered. As I got older, I forgot about the brand, but within the last few years, they’ve completely upped their game.
Thanks to a re-brand to more modern and timeless designs, Abercrombie & Fitch is without a doubt my most loved store. Although I have tees and tanks in seemingly every color, it’s their denim that made me fall in love with the brand again—specifically their Curve Love High Rise Vintage Flare Jean. Keep reading to see why these have become the most worn jeans in my wardrobe—which is saying a lot since I hoard jeans.

What is the Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Jean?
Abercrombie’s Curve Love line adds room in the thighs so you’re comfortable—without the dreaded waist gap.
Available in light, medium, and dark washes, the Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love High Rise Vintage Flare Jean comes in a high-rise silhouette that gives off a vintage feel. The hem of these jeans is flared with a frayed hem, giving it a worn-in effect. The most important design element, though, has to be Abercrombie’s ‘Curve Love’ silhouette, which provides an extra two inches through the hip and thigh to curb waist-gapping.

What I Like About the Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Jean
True to its name, these jeans are designed to flatter people with wider hips and a smaller waist.
The curve love design is outstanding for shoppers with wider hips and narrower waists
I love jeans, but seemingly every single pair I buy has a gap at the back of the waistband. Since I have more of an hourglass figure with thicker thighs and a smaller waist, it’s bound to happen. Abercrombie & Fitch’s curve love silhouette was practically made for bodies like mine.
For reference, I’m 5’9” and am a size 27 in jeans. I’ve tried on a regular pair of Abercrombie & Fitch jeans that don’t have the curve love option and was immediately able to tell a difference in the fit. There’s just something about those extra two inches the curve love offers that works for me and my body.
Best of all, you can also pick out a custom length, ranging from extra short to short, regular, long, and extra long. Since I’m on the taller side, I opted for the long length, which was just right for my taller stature.

They’re comfortable enough to wear even on long travel days
In the past, I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a pair of jeans on a long car ride or to the airport, but trust me when I say these pass the test. They aren’t rigid and don’t just have a worn-in look, but also a worn-in feel. They’re buttery soft and are by far the comfiest pair of jeans I own!
Whether I’m running errands or going out with my friends, these are the jeans I reach for. And if you’re anything like me and find that your jeans feel tight after a big meal, that is not an issue with this pair. They curve and contour to my body, leaving me feeling ultra comfortable and at ease.
What I Don’t Like About the Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Jean
These jeans may be near-perfect, but I wish they hit just a little higher on the waist.
I wish they were a little bit more high-waisted
High-waisted silhouettes are my absolute favorite style. Not only do they make me feel more snatched and covered up, but they provide great support. While I don’t have anything bad to say about these jeans, since I have a longer torso, I do wish they were slightly more high-waisted.
Is the Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love Jean Worth It?
I loved the High Rise Vintage Flare so much that I bought three more pairs of Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love jeans.
Yes, yes, yes!
I’ve had the Curve Love High Rise Vintage Flare Jeans for nine months and wear them every single week without fail. In that time, they haven’t stretched out too much and still fit me like a glove. Plus, at just $90, it’s a fair price for a pair of stunning jeans. In fact, I loved these jeans so much that I bought three more pairs of Curve Love denim and trousers, including the Sloane Tailored Pant, High Rise Loose Jean, and Ultra High Rise 90s Straight Jean (see below). In my opinion, they’re far better than any other pair of designer jeans currently on the market.
