    Best Deals on iMacs

The new generation of iMacs are among the very best desktop computers in the world, and they are priced accordingly. Considering the processing power inside, the $1,500 price tag is more than fair, but one of the best Apple deals of January 2022 covers the new iMacs.

However, right now you can save $100 on a brand new Apple iMac M1 through Amazon. How? Select colors of this computer have been discounted by $100. Best Deals on AirPods & AirPods Pro

In 2021, the previous generation of AirPods and AirPods Pro were pretty much always on sale, and rumors were flying that a new generation of Apple’s popular earbuds was bout to be released. Well, the rumors were true, and the Third Generation AirPods were officially released in October 2021. If you’re looking for the best AirPods deals, you can always find some kind of discount available at the big retailers. Because these earbuds are so popular, retailers are competing to offer the best price, and you can already find the new generation of AirPods on sale.

While there are plenty of other great wireless earbuds for sale in 2021 from brands like Samsung, Sony, Jabra and Master & Dynamic, Apple’s newest earbuds are a great choice if you mostly use Apple products. These earbuds seamlessly connect to iPhones, MacBooks, iPads and other Apple products, and they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Throw in a fantastic battery and excellent noise-canceling (though not the best in the world), and it’s easy to see why AirPods are so incredibly popular.

    Best Deals on iPads

Every new generation of iPads is faster, lighter and easier to use. Normally, the best places to go for the new iPad 9th Gen are Best Buy and Amazon, where they are usually available for a discounted price of $319.99. However, Walmart occasionally has price discounts on the new iPad as well. The new iPad and iPad Mini will also likely drive down the prices on their predecessors, which are still might impressive tablets.

Look, we promise that Apple isn’t paying us to promote these devices. That’s the thing — Apple doesn’t need to, because the latest generation of chips is just that dang good. Inside the newest iPads, you’ll find either an A12 or A14 bionic chip with a neural engine and Apple’s famous Retina Display. These iPads are so fast that for a lot of people they can completely replace your laptop. In fact, if you mostly use your device for streaming, apps and browsing the internet, then that’s exactly what we recommend. (In that case, we recommend going with additional memory and investing in some of the best iPad accessories.)

Finally, Amazon has the best prices (by far) on the 2021 iPad Pro, which is available for $50 and $100 off depending on the size you choose. We’ve got details on all of the best Apple deals on iPads below.

Grab the New iPad for $319.99

The new generation of iPads was released last fall, and this is one of the top-rated tablets ever released. Right now, Amazon has the best deals on iPads, and you can pick up these tablets for just $319.99, whereas retailers like Best Buy and Walmart are charging between $330 and $430 for the same device. We do sometimes find these tablets on sale at Walmart for just $299, but this discount isn’t available.

Even so, you can still save a little bit off the price when you buy the new tablet at Amazon and Walmart. This tablet is available in two sizes, both of which are discounted. While these aren’t the biggest Apple deals we’ve seen in 2022, they are some of the most popular.

The iPad Mini is one of Apple’s most highly-rated iPads on the market, and thus it’s becoming harder and harder to find. Right now the best deal lives on Amazon where this tablet can be found for $499. For comparison, most retailers are selling this tablet for at least $550 right now.

The Best Apple Deals on MacBooks

Regular readers of SPY will know by now that we’re obsessed with the M1 chip. The newest generation of Apple processors is so powerful that it’s an order of magnitude faster than the chips that came before it. Let’s put this in perspective. Say you bought a brand new iMac in 2019. At the time, this $2,000 machine was the top-of-the-line desktop computer for creative professionals running video editing software. Now, your fancy desktop computer is actually slower than the 2020 M1 Mac Mini, a product that used to be an afterthought in the desktop market. The new M1 chip is so fast, the 2020 M1 MacBook Air pretty much made the MacBook Pro obsolete, at least until the M1 Pro Chip was released along with the 2021 MacBook Pro.

For college students, creative professionals, and everyday use, the M1 MacBook Air and Pro are the best laptops of the year, again. And they’re in stock on Amazon and Best Buy at a seriously discounted price. We’ve been keeping a close eye on the M1 MacBook deals in hopes that the price would drop again, but we think this is the lowest they’re going to go in January 2022.

Buy M1 MacBook Air Laptops for $899.00

We recommend heading to Amazon for the best deals on M1 MacBook Air Laptops, although Best Buy has great Open Box deals too This 13.3-inch laptop is super-thin and super-fast. In previous years, the MacBook Air was a lightweight compared to the MacBook Pro, but with the M1 chip, that’s no longer the case. Even for serious projects like photo or video editing, this laptop is up for the challenge. Faster, more powerful, and much cheaper than comparable small laptops, it’s hard for us to imagine a better laptop right now.

Buy M1 MacBook Pro for $1,199.99

The 2021 generation of MacBook Pro laptops are out now, but we weren’t able to find them discounted anywhere. The good news? The 2020 generation of MacBook Pros are still incredibly impressive machines, and they do offer some features not included in the MacBook Air, like the Touch Bar and an internal fan. They’re also half the price of the new generation, and you can catch them on sale right now via Amazon Prime.

    Best Deals on Apple Watches

It’s hard to imagine now, but the Apple Watch was once seen as something of a flop. The continued success of this smartwatch shows that the Apple Watch beat the skeptics, and the new full-screen Series 7 was one of the top Christmas gifts in 2021. The Apple Watch continues to innovate, especially in the health space. For example, you can measure blood oxygen and check your heart rhythm. You can also track fitness, and switch between activities like swimming, cycling and running.

It’s hard to find steep discounts on the newest Series 7, but there are a handful of deals on Apple Watches available this month via Amazon.

Buy Apple Watch Series 7 for $349.00

The Retina display on the new Series 7 is nearly 20 percent larger than that of the Series 6. It comes in 41mm and 45mm faces, compared to the 40mm and 44mm sizes of the previous models. It has all of the amazing health features of the Series 6 plus a more durable face, faster charging times and longer battery life. Right now Amazon has the best deal at $349.00.

Even though the Apple Watch SE, has a lower price point, it still has most of the same awesome fitness features as the Series 7. Is a larger full-screen display worth an extra hundred bucks to you? If not, the SE is an outstanding buy, and nowhere better than at Amazon where the GPS model is currently slashed to $249.00.

Best Deals on the iPhone 13

Ready to upgrade to the newest iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro? We recently got our hands on the newest Apple smartphone, and it’s a thing of beauty. While the phone itself is hard to find discounted, mobile carriers are competing aggressively to get new customers, so you can sometimes get some cool bonus gifts like free AirPods or $200 gift cards when you switch mobile carriers and buy a new iPhone 13. If you don’t want to switch carriers, you can still find some carrier-specific discounts at retailers like Walmart.

Apple’s latest flagship phone offers a professional-quality camera and faster speeds, plus all the great features we’ve come to expect from the iPhone. As this is a brand new product (and was a very in-demand gifts for Christmas 2021), there aren’t a lot of iPhone 13 deals to be found yet. That being said, we’ve included the best deals on iPhone 13 models below, and we’ll update this post as we find more.

    Get $800 Off iPhone 13 at AT&T

Here’s how it works: trade in your phone valued at $95 or more — so your “old” iPhone 12 will most likely do the trick — and get $800 off in bill credits. The credits start after three billing cycles. Essentially you’ll pay full price for your new phone upfront (which isn’t that cool), but you’ll get to have a working phone without a phone bill for a good amount of time (which is really cool). We don’t know how long this deal will last, so jump on it now to take advantage.

FAQ About Apple Sales & Discounts

Apple makes some of the world’s most popular consumer devices, and the company has very devoted fans. For true Apple loyalists, the thought of using a Windows PC or an Android phone is unthinkable.

Because of this brand loyalty, Apple doesn’t need to offer steep discounts in order to attract customers. That’s why Apple has a reputation for avoiding sales events and deals. However, you actually can find a lot of deals on popular Apple products. As of January 2022, you can find discounts on iPads, MacBook Air and Proo laptops, Mac Mini computers, AirPods and AirPods Pro earbuds and even the new AirPods Max headphones.

What about iPhones? We recommend checking directly with your wireless carrier of choice for the latest iPhone deals, especially now with the release of the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro. For everything else, we’ve rounded up the absolute lowest prices on Apple products, as well as answers to common questions.

What is the AirPods Pro lowest price?

During Black Friday 2021, we saw prices on Apple AirPods Pro drop to just $159. Right now the best deal is $189.99, a $60 discount from the full retail price of $249. Keep in mind that these wireless earbuds rarely go above $200 at popular retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart.

Can you buy the Apple AirPods Max on sale?

Yes! Even though Apple’s new over-ear headphones are brand new, you can find them on sale if you know where to look. With a full retail price of $549, these noise-cancelling headphones aren’t cheap. However, with truly stellar audio, premier active noise-cancellation, and spatial audio with Dolby Atmos surround sound, these may just be the greatest headphones in the world. You can find AirPods Max selling for $479.00.

What is the lowest price on the 2020 M1 MacBook Air?

The 13.3-inch M1 MacBook Air is a seriously impressive machine, and based on the performance of the M1 chip, it has a ridiculously low price tag. That was true even at its full price, but now you can buy this laptop at Amazon for $949.00.

Is the M1 Mac Mini Worth the Price?

We 100% recommend the M1 Mac Mini, which puts 2019-era iMacs to shame at a fraction of the cost. Thanks to the lightning-fast M1 chip, the new 2020 Mac Mini is one of the best desktop computers of the year and absolutely worth the $649.00 price tag at Amazon.

Should I Buy a New iPad?

The 2021 iPad Pro is still probably the world’s best tablet right now despite its steep $800 price tag. While it does carry the incredibly fast M1 chip, for just $99 more you could buy the M1 MacBook Air. For this reason, we think most consumers will be just as happy with the 2020 iPad Air or the new 2021 iPad, the latter of which can be found for $329 via Amazon.

Are the AirPods Max Headphones Worth the Price?

We 100% believe that the new Apple AirPods Max headphones justify their $479 price tag. These are premium headphones designed for true audiophiles, so if that doesn’t apply to you, we recommend going with the Sony WH-1000XM4 wireless headphones instead. However, for true best-in-class audio, nothing beats the AirPods Max. Apple’s new over-ear headphones offer incredible active noise-cancellation technology, fantastic battery life, a comfortable fit and stylish design. On top of all that, these headphones are compatible with Dolby Atmos, which means you can have a genuine surround sound experience with your headphones.
