WEF findet 2022 wieder in Davos statt

Das Word Economic Forum (WEF) plant sein Treffen 2022 wieder in Davos. Lange war Singapur als Austragungsort im Rennen. Nun gaben die Organisatoren bekannt, das WEF vom 17. bis 22. Januar in Davos auszutragen.

Das Jahrestreffen von Führungskräften aus Wirtschaft, Regierung und Zivilgesellschaft steht 2022 unter dem Motto “Working Together, Restoring Trust”, wie der Veranstalter am Donnerstag in einer Mitteilung schrieb.

Man wolle während des Forums die durch die Pandemie verschärften wirtschaftlichen, ökologischen, politischen und sozialen Bruchlinien angehen, hiess es weiter. Ziel sei es, das Vertrauen wieder herzustellen und die Zukunft nachhaltig zu gestalten.

Das letzte WEF wurde wegen der Corona-Pandemie an einer mehrtägigen Online-Konferenz ausgerichtet. Eine Austragung im August in Singapur musste zuletzt wegen der Corona-Pandemie erneut verschoben werden. Normalerweise treffen sich die rund 3000 Teilnehmenden Ende Januar im Schweizer Alpenort Davos.
