Wednesday Season 2 Brings Back Another Major Star From The Addams Family Movies
Another big star from The Addams Family is revisiting the franchise with a role in Netflix’s Wednesday. In the first season, Christina Ricci had a key role, and one of her co-stars from two feature films is stepping on board for Season 2.
Per THR, the new additions for the Season 2 cast of Wednesday include veteran actor Christopher Lloyd. Memorably, Lloyd played Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, the original live-action feature film released in 1991. He reprised the role for the 1993 sequel Addams Family Values, both of which co-starred Ricci as Wednesday Addams. Like Ricci, Lloyd hasn’t been involved with the Addams Family franchise ever since Addams Family Values. There won’t be a reunion, however, as Ricci isn’t expected to return for Season 2.
