Wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav came together to create a hilarious meme ahead of DC vs RR in the Indian Premier League. Lovingly dubbed as ‘Kulcha’ the duo was selected in India’s 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Rajasthan Royals posted a reel featuring Chahal and Kuldeep ahead of Tuesday’s game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
The duo were seen enacting a viral template on Instagram. The Instagram reel praised the duo for their selection in the T20 World Cup 2024. Kuldeep and Chahal will be in action on Tuesday, as DC try to keep their playoffs hope alive. RR on the other hand have the opportunity to get to the top of the table once again if they beat DC away from home.
Leg-spinner Yuzvedra Chahal was thrilled after returning to the Indian team for the T20 World Cup, saying that earning back a place in the senior national side has been his ‘biggest achievement’ in the recent past. Chahal, speaking to the broadcasters ahead of Rajasthan’s IPL 2024 game against SunRisers in Hyderabad, explained that he considers the World Cup call-up a bigger landmark than his IPL heroics.

Chahal was rewarded for his IPL 2024 performances as he was picked as part of a 4-man spin attack. Chahal’s hopes of going to the USA and the West Indies in June looked bleak after he lost the annual retainership contract earlier in the year. However, Chahal broke the door open with his showing with the ball for the Royals this season.
“For the World Cup,” Chahal said when broadcaster Murali Karthik asked for which of his recent achievements he should be congratulated.
“We play IPL, domestic cricket to get into the Indian team and that is my biggest achievement,” Chahal said.
