Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone turns heads in a fitted black turtleneck and decorative skirt at Killers of the Flower Moon event

Lily Gladstone commanded attention on Friday as she led arrivals at a Killers of the Flower Moon event in Washington, DC.

The 37-year-old Oscar-nominated actress looked stunning in a form-fitting black turtleneck and a pleated black skirt.

The skirt, which cropped at her calves, featured a large colorful embroidered emblem across the front.

It matched her statement-making earrings, which fell down to her chest. Both pieces appeared to be an homage to her Native American heritage.

She finished the striking look with a pair of sheer black pantyhose and pointed black heels.

The Montana-raised actress looked captivating with her silky dark locks arranged in a center part as they flowed over her chest.

She flashed her megawatt smile as she displayed a flawless face of makeup that included rosy cheeks and a glossed lip.

Director Martin Scorsese, 81, was also present for the celebratory gathering, which was held at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.

He looked dapped in a subtly patterned blue suit teamed with a white shirt and a lighter blue tie.

Also in attendance was journalist and writer Jake Tapper, who demonstrated impeccable style in a gray suit.

Actor and comedian Tatanka Means, 38, looked handsome in a light brown suit and button-up white shirt.

The monumental film, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, is based on the book of the same name by David Grann.

This week Gladstone revealed that DiCaprio was one of the first people to congratulate her on her Oscars nomination.

She made history when she received a nod for Best Actress for her performance in the hit film, becoming the first Native American to be nominated in the category.

And her on-screen husband, 49, who plays World War I veteran Ernest Burkhart, promptly reached out with a text her to offer his congratulations.

While speaking with Extra, the actress revealed the encouraging comment he sent her after her nomination was announced.

‘He was just so proud, and then I told him that I was watching with my parents and “we’re celebrating me, but we’re also, like, collectively very pissed off for you,”‘ she said, noting his missing nomination for his role in the production.

‘He did such an incredible job in this, and, like, just, he made an impossible character just so vivid, and it made my job so much easier, so I really want to share this moment with him,’ the actress, who is of Piegan Blackfeet (Siksikaitsitapi), Nez Perce (Nimíipuu) and European heritage, explained.

The great-great granddaughter of Kainai Nation chief Red Crow added, ‘You know, he told me right before the [Golden Globes], “No matter the outcome, I think you’re amazing and I’m proud of you.”‘

In response, Gladstone called DiCaprio ‘the greatest actor.’

The Revenant Oscar winner also made a point to acknowledge Gladstone’s achievement on social media.

‘Congratulations to my dear friend @LilyGladstone for making Oscars history, as the first Native American woman to be nominated for Best Actress in Killers Of The Flower Moon, and the fourth Indigenous actress to ever earn a nomination in the category,’ he gushed on Instagram.
