READ MORE: The Project hosts Sarah Harris and Steve Price clash on air over controversial call to ban thong bikinis on Aussie beaches
Tim Davies was left very red-faced when he had his trousers pulled down in a shocking moment on live television.
The Today show weather presenter, 40, was presenting his live cross from the Gold Coast on Friday morning, where he spoke to a group of locals about Ian Grace’s call to ban thong bikinis.
Gold Coast resident Ian recently sparked outrage for writing a letter calling for the bikinis to be banned from Aussie beaches because it makes him ‘uncomfortable’.
A group of residents have responded to his controversial call with their own #It’sPeachy campaign as they gathered on the beach in thong swimwear in protest.
However, a very embarrassing moment saw one of the women, named Bianca, trying to get Tim involved and unexpectedly ‘dacked’ him, to his complete shock.

Two women, Bianca and Rebecca, spoke for the group as they energetically told Tim about why they disagree with a ban on thong bikinis on beaches in the Gold Coast.
Bianca said: ‘This is the Gold Coast, this is the land of the G-string!’
Rebecca added: ‘I think the conversation is so much wider. He brought up the children and our young girls in society, we do need to teach them what’s appropriate and what’s not, but that starts in the home, and a bikini blanket ban was never going to be the solution!’
Bianca then started a chant as she said: ‘What do we want to free?’ with the group replying, ‘The peach’, before she said: ‘When do we want to free it?’, with the others chanting ‘Now!’.
As Tim turned to speak to co-hosts Sarah Abo and Karl Stefanovic in the studio, a woman Bianca unexpectedly pulled his shorts down, leaving the presenter very red-faced. Protecting his modesty, Tim said: ‘Woah, hey, hey, hey! Jesus Bianca, you’ll free more than the peach!’

Sarah looked completely shocked as she said: ‘Oh dear, oh dear, I think you need to repurpose that cowboy hat Tim!’ while Karl pretended to be reading the newspaper.
An embarrassed Tim then said: ‘Jesus, it’s quite dangerous around Bianca, my goodness me. Freeing more than the peach this morning!’
He then tried to recover from the shocking prank as he asked the group to give ‘big waves’ to the cameras and ended the segment.

The segment about G-string bikinis comes after Ian Grace recently wrote a letter calling for the bikinis to be banned from Aussie beaches.
The founder and president of local charity Youth Music Venture sparked outrage as he said thong bikinis made him ‘uncomfortable’ and said the reason for his concern was ‘protection’.
‘I don’t believe that young teens want to be seen as sexy, it’s just the fashion right now,’ he wrote, sparking a huge public debate and backlash.
‘And I absolutely believe that the real issue here is the men who might be ogling the girls.’

‘If not banned at the beach, very definitely banned the moment they are off the beach,’ he went on.
‘This certainly should not be allowed in public pools or theme/water parks which are very much more family orientated. Young kids don’t need to see women’s bums.’
Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate told the Courier Mail he had no plans on banning the bikinis from the area’s famous beaches.
‘Ian is a brave man messing with women’s fashion,’ he said.
‘One thing I’ve learned about fashion over the years is that if you try to ban something, or restrict it, that’s a certain recipe to see it double in popularity.’
