TUNIS, May 9 (TAP) – The sanctions imposed on Tunisia by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will be lifted within a maximum of fifteen days, said the legal director and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Chokri Hamda.
In an interview with TAP news agency, Hamda pointed out that Tunisia had fulfilled its obligations and responded to all of the WADA’s recommendations following the publication of the decree on the administrative and financial organisation of the National Anti-Doping Agency (ANAD) and the conditions for its management in the Official Journal on 2 May.
He noted that the Tunisian file would be examined by the Compliance Committee, then by the Compliance Review Committee, before being submitted to the WADA Executive Committee for a vote.
