Vikram’s ‘Anniyan’ in Telugu – ‘Aparichithudu’ gearing up for a re-release!
The 2005 film ‘Anniyan’ was a blockbuster hit and the film made more than Rs 50 crore at the box office. Directed by Shankar, the Vikram starrer was released in Telugu as ‘Aparichithudu’ and it is now all set for its re-release in theatres on May 17. The movie is an action thriller and apart from Tamil Nadu, it ran well in Telugu states becoming one of the classics.
Taking to social media, the makers of the film revealed that the film will be re-released in theatres again on May 17 in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ‘Aparichithudu’ stars Vikram. Sadha, Prakash Raj, Vivek, Nedumudi Venu among others. The music for the film was composed by Harris Jayaraj.
Director Shankar, who helmed the movie, is now all set to make his Telugu debut with the film ‘Game Changer’ that stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The shooting for the film is nearing its end and it will soon move into post-production and the release of it is expected to happen by the start of 2025. Meanwhile, actor Vikram is awaiting the release of his film ‘Thangalaan’. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the periodic action drama stars Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy in lead roles. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash and it is set for its release in June this year.
