Viewers were left stunned at Kevin Spacey’s brother Randy’s uncanny resemblance to a legendary music icon as he appeared in a new documentary on Monday night.

Channel 4’s two-part programme Spacey Unmasked explores the allegations of sexual harassment and abuse made against the actor and the outcomes of the court cases held against him.

Last year the American Beauty and House of Cards actor, 64, was found not guilty of nine sexual offences made against him by four men who were in their 20s and 30s between 2004 and 2013.

Kevin’s estranged brother Randall (Randy) Fowler appeared in the first episode of the programme on Monday night, where he opened up about their childhood together.

But many viewers were left distracted by his unbelievable resemblance to singer Sir Rod Stewart, 79.

With his flamboyant clothing, identical hairstyle and glasses, Randy really did appear the spitting image of Sir Rod.

Viewers wrote: ‘Wait, Kevin Spacey’s brother is Rod Stewart?’;

‘I did not know Kevin Spacey’s brother was Jim Davidson and Rod Stewart’s love child. Strange times’;

‘I didn’t know Rod Stewart & Kevin Spacey were brothers?’

Viewers were correct when they noted his likeness to Rod, as Randy is in fact a Rod Stewart impersonator and limo driver.

Randy, who is three years older than Kevin, left home when his actor brother was 16.

He discussed the brothers’ traumatic childhood, saying that their father had ‘Nazi meetings’ at the house in Sunny Brae Avenue and decorated it with swastikas.

For Randy, his outfits are a way to hide from his background.

‘I think my outfits like I wear are like costumes,’ he said in the documentary.

‘It makes me feel comfortable and accepted, another way to mask my internal pain and suffering that I was going through psychologicaly.

‘Like if I look different, maybe people won’t find out about my dark secret.’

Randy has previously accused their father, Thomas, who he refers to as The Creature, of sexual abuse.

He claimed The Usual Suspects actor ‘had no feelings’ and retreated into acting as an ‘escape’ from the problems at home.

Elsewhere in the documentary, Spacey’s former actor friend Scott claimed that he pleasured himself while watching the bloody Normandy landing scene in Saving Private Ryan.

Scott, who was referred to only by his first name, claimed the unnerving incident happened in 1998 at a cinema where the Oscar award winning film was playing.

Other allegations made throughout the documentary include that he groped a 21-year-old man, pushed his groin into the face of an employee and placed his hands on the genitals of a fellow actor on the House of Cards set.

Spacey has argued that he was ‘provided with insufficient time and detail to respond to the testimonies in the film’.

‘I have consistently denied – and now successfully defended – numerous allegations made both in the US and the UK, both criminal and civil, and each time have been able to source evidence undermining the allegations and have been believed by a jury of my peers.’

Continuing his fight-back against the slew of allegations, he also took part in a 95 minute interview with former GB News presenter Dan Wotton, where he declared he will ‘no longer be speechless’ in the face of allegations.

Channel 4 said previously: ‘Kevin Spacey has been given sufficient opportunity to respond.’

Spacey Unmasked continues tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.
