Police hunt middle-aged Wetherspoons couple who hurled racist abuse at bar staff when they were asked to leave

Police are searching for a middle-aged couple who hurled racist abuse at the bar staff when they were asked to leave a Wetherspoon pub.

The couple were heard shouting racist insults at the staff working in the Buck Inn in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

On January 22, they were asked to leave the premises but became aggressive, the police said.

The police say they are treating this as a public order offence and hate crime.

North Yorkshire Police have issued pictures to the public as part of their investigation.
