This happened around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Weslayan Street and Richmond Avenue just north of the Southwest Freeway.
HFD Station 28 Chief Jay Garcia said the woman was semi-conscious when firefighters arrived. The first responders worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle, which appeared to be stuck on a median in a parking lot, before using airbags to lift it up and pull the woman out.
The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Garcia said he expects the woman to be OK and that her condition was stable.
