Antoine Dupont, laissé sur le banc face au Racing 92, a fait une superbe entrée en seconde période pour mener le Stade Toulousain vers la victoire.

Antoine Dupont a refait des siennes. Une semaine après avoir été laissé au repos contre Toulon, le demi de mêlée débutait la rencontre sur le banc face au Racing 92. Après une première mi-temps laborieuse des Toulousains, l’international français a fait son entrée peu après le retour des vestiaires. Dans le sillage de son équipe, Dupont a amené du dynamisme et a changé le visage des siens. Il s’est d’abord signalé au soutien pour venir conclure une superbe action collective du Stade, avant de servir Chocobares pour un nouvel essai. Une entrée quasi parfaite pour le numéro 9, qui a néanmoins vu le bonus offensif s’échapper après une perte de balle près de la ligne. De bon augure à une semaine de la demi-finale de Champions Cup face aux Harlequins.
