Province heading back to bargaining table with Sask. teachers

Yes. Media you know this. I know this certainly as the minister, you know Miss be caught and her team would know what I mean there’s been ups and downs throughout the last several months. You know some days feel more positive than other days. I I’m really optimistic though I’m optimistic that quite frankly over the last several days we’ve come to a point where you know and I’ve I’ve said this previously, I know Miss B Cot has been out saying this, we are closer than we think. We there’s more that we agree on than we disagree on. Again, everybody wants to come to an agreement that’s going to work for teachers but also is going to work for taxpayers and parents and families. Around the province as well. So again but those deals as I’ve been consistent all the way along, those deals happen at the bargaining table. So in order for us to get to an agreement we have to actually be at the table and and I think we have a path to get there. Now we’re looking forward in into the next week in good faith we’re ready to work right through the day. I know I’ve said it a couple of times internally within the federation but like I hope these are 12 hour days. I hope we’re we’re getting down to the conversations that need to be had so that we can get to resolution as soon as possible so that there’s certainty for. The teachers that I represent but also certainty for students in in the last few months of their school and their families as well.
