Victoria and David Beckham 'worried as burglary casts cloud over Brooklyn's wedding'

David and Victoria Beckham are “extremely upset and worried” after the burglary on their London mansion, a source has said.

It was reported that a mask robber burgled the property while David, 46, Victoria, 47, and their 10 year old daughter Harper were asleep at home.

Their son Cruz, 17, discovered that the house had been broken into after returning home from an evening with friends. Now the celebrity couple are worried the incident will cast “a black cloud” over eldest son Brooklyn‘s wedding on April 9.

A source tells OK!: “There’s been a series of burglaries and break-ins along their road. Quite a few stars live down there so it’s definitely a target. They’re extremely upset and worried.

“They already have security but they’re going to heap it up. They’re getting security for the road as well as their own security, they want to go the extra mile.

“They’re worried because they have Brooklyn‘s wedding coming up so they will be in America for a little while and don’t want to leave the house.

“It’s really put a black cloud over the wedding. They’re really distressed and very worried that they’ll be targeted as a family again.”

The source went on to add how David, who runs football club Inter Miami CF, wants the family to make a permanent move Stateside.

They said: “David spends the majority of his time in Miami so he’s beside himself worrying about the safety of his family.

“He would like them to move to Miami but Victoria has wanted to stay in the UK but she’s now thinking of going too.

According to The Sun, the burglar got away with thousands of pounds worth of designer and electric goods.

A source told the publication: “Sadly the Beckhams were the victims of some fairly professional thieves who have been operating in the area.

“Fortunately the criminals only made it as far as one bedroom before they ran off.

“The thieves had broken through a window and darted straight back out of the same one with a small number of items. Luckily none had a huge amount of sentimental value to the family.”
