Veli-Matti Savinaiselle Suomen mestaruus oli jo kuudes hänen urallaan. Hän tiivisti viimeisen finaalin jälkeen osuvasti sen, mistä Tapparassa on kyse.

– Pelaajat vaihtuvat, valmentajat vaihtuvat, mutta silti vuodesta toiseen mestaruus pysyy täällä Tampereella sinioransseilla, Savinainen sanoi MTV Katsomon haastattelussa.

Tapparan ylivoima on noloa muiden Liiga-joukkueiden kannalta. Niiden kannattaa nyt koko kesän ajan tuijotella peiliin.
