Van’da çığ riski nedeniyle yaklaşık 4 aydır kapalı tutulan Van-Bahçesaray karayolu ulaşıma açılması için çalışmalar devam ediyor.

Van’da 22 Aralık 2023 tarihinde yağan kar yağışı ile birlikte düşen çığlar sonucu Van-Bahçesaray yolu ulaşıma kapandı. Yaklaşık 4 aydan bu yana ulaşımın sağlanamadığı yolda Karayolları 11. Bölge Müdürlüğü Görentaş Şantiye ekipleri, kar kalınlığının yer yer 3 ile 5 metreyi bulduğu bölgede 3 bin rakımlı Karabet Geçidi’ne çalışmalarını aralıksız sürdürüyor. Çalışmalar büyük titizlikle devam ederken önümüzdeki hafta içi yolun açılma planlanıyor. Van-Bahçesaray yolunun kapalı olması nedeniyle ilçeye Bitlis’in Hizan ilçesi üzerinden ulaşım sağlanıyor.
