Uusi valmentaja Liverpooliin – tämän pelaajan tulevaisuus on nyt vaakalaudalla

Hollantilaisesta Arne Slotista tulee Liverpoolin uusi valmentaja. Slotin maanmies saattaa silti joutua lähtemään Poolista.

Kyse on 21-vuotiaasta keskikenttäpelaaja Ryan Gravenberchista, joka tuskastui taannoin vähäiseen peliaikaansa Bayern Münchenissä.

Liverpool osti Gravenberchin viime vuonna 40 miljoonalla eurolla. Liverpoolin peräsimestä lähtevä Jürgen Klopp on peluuttanut Gravenberchissa 34 ottelussa, joissa hän on ollut 20 kertaa avauskokoonpanossa.

Brittimediassa on huhuttu, että Gravenberch ei välttämättä sisältyisi Slotin suunnitelmiin ja Liverpool olisi halukas myymään hänet jo ensi kesän siirtoikkunassa. Gravenberchin sopimus ulottuu kesään 2028.

Arvostettu saksalaistoimittaja Florian Plettenberg kertoo X-palvelussa, että Gravenberch ei halua vaihtaa missään nimessä seuraa – ei edes lainapelaajana.

Plettenbergin tietojen mukaan Gravenberchin tilannetta seurataan suurella mielenkiinnolla erityisesti Turkista käsin. Turkkilaisseurat kyttäisivät tilaisuuttaan pelaajalainan muodossa.
