She confidently charges into any situation and does her best at all costs. Ashido never lets setbacks get her down. Plus, she is one of the few who can keep Minoru Mineta in check about his lewd behavior.

Even when Mirko is gravely injured, she continues to battle. Mirko never gives up as long as there is fight left in her. In her words, she made peace with death long ago, and she isn’t afraid to perish in the line of duty. Mirko can seem like a hothead, but most of it is her incredible bravado because she knows how skilled of a Pro Hero she is.

Tsuyu Asui is the level head of Class 1-A. She is the most practical of all of them. Tsu calls things like she sees them, and she isn’t afraid to stand up to her friends when she thinks they’re doing wrong. Tsu tends to beat herself up when she feels she has made a mistake, but her great rapport with everyone has garnered her a tight support group.
Although she isn’t onscreen as much anymore, Tsu has been a fan favorite from the beginning. Her adorable froggy persona helps fans fall in love with her. Tsu is a steadfast, conscientious hero who is sure to do great things one day when she’s not being overlooked by everyone else.
Lady Nagant Is A Nuanced Character

Lady Nagant is a complicated character within the My Hero Academia universe. She was once a hopeful young hero until she began working for the government as an assassin. This caused Lady Nagant to become disillusioned with the system, eventually leading to her incarceration in Tartarus. Once she’s free, she begins working for All For One, but it’s not in her true nature to be an all-out villain like he wants her to be.
When push comes to shove, Lady Nagant wants to believe in heroism. She wants to have faith that Pro Heroes actually make people’s lives better, and that there’s more to them than pawns in government hijinks. Her last words in the anime are to tell Deku that he really is a true hero – highlighting her subconscious ideals this whole time. Lady Nagant is a great female character because she has a lot of nuance for someone who isn’t in the show that long.
Inko Midoriya Is A Worried Mother

Inko Midoriya isn’t in the show as much as she was in previous seasons, but her presence makes a statement. Because My Hero Academia focuses a lot on putting teenagers in perilous situations, it can be easy to forget that they’re still kids. Having Inko, and other parents in the show, reminds audiences of Class 1-A’s humanity. Inko also represents another oft-forgotten dynamic, which is the Heroes’ families.
While the Heroes are out fighting, their families are sitting at home, either watching them on the news or worried sick about where they might be. Inko’s demand to All Might to keep her son safe is more of a cry for him and all the adults to keep all the students safe. Just because Class 1-A and their peers are incredibly competent doesn’t mean that they should be on the front lines. Especially when they haven’t completed a full year of schooling. People laugh at how much Inko cries, but it shows audiences the very real toll of having to let a child be willingly put in constant danger.
Eri Represents Hope

Eri is a little girl with astonishing power. She can rewind people to any point in their lives, including their embryonic stage. Unfortunately, this unbelievable power is also the reason given for her imprisonment by the yakuza group, the Shie Hassaiki. While there, the leader, Overhaul, tortures Eri and uses her Quirk to create a Quirk-canceling drug. Because she was trapped for so long, Eri has little idea about the real world, and is, therefore, stunned when she actually finds kindness in strangers.
However, Eri’s shining quality is her unabashed joy. Whether it’s cheering Deku on during the School Festival concert, or helping to pass out Christmas presents, Eri’s smile is one of the best parts of My Hero Academia. Eri represents a tangible sign that the work the Heroes do matters.

Himiko Toga is a villain whom fans can’t get enough of. She takes sadistic pleasure in causing fear and pain but likes to think of herself as a hopeless romantic. However, there is more to Toga than her ne’er-do-well side. Like a lot of young women, Toga has always felt like she was on the fringes of society – never allowed into it. This is part of what makes her such a great character.
Toga’s villainy mostly stems from people choosing not to understand her. Blood Quirks are taboo in Hero Society, but Toga’s particular Quirk frightened people so much that she now believes she’s more monster than person. Toga leans into her intense crushes on Deku and Uraraka because feeling romance makes her feel like she belongs – especially now that her best friend Twice is dead. Toga is a well-written character with a lot of depth, which makes her one of the best female characters in My Hero Academia.

Ochaco Uraraka is arguably the female character who is at the forefront of the show. Her feelings for Izuku Midoriya play a large part in not only her narrative but others’ narratives as well. She is also responsible for helping to get Deku into U.A. in the first place.
Uraraka shows the most growth of the female characters, mostly because she has the most screen time. However, she proves her worth every time she comes on screen. When she feels like she isn’t strong, she is proactive in remedying her concern. When her friends are in trouble, she jumps in to save them. Uraraka is a character of grit and integrity who doesn’t get enough credit for how strong she really is.
