Amazon’s Fallout series has earned rave reviews from both critics and general audiences since its launch on Prime Video earlier this month and has caused a huge spike in the number of people playing the games. The live-action TV show is available to stream free with an Amazon Prime subscription, but fans can also play three of the franchise’s latest games for free thanks to a brand-new deal.
Amazon is giving away Fallout 76 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC as one of many free games available with Prime Gaming, which can be tried without paying a penny with an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. But fans can also play Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition for free with Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming platform.
Fallout 76 can be claimed free with Prime Gaming until May 15 by signing up for Amazon Prime to receive a code for the Microsoft Store, while Fallout 3 and New Vegas can be played for free on Luna. Other free games currently include Chivalry 2, Black Desert and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, while there’s also a host of other free games on Luna like Fortnite and Rocket Racing.
Prime Gaming is included with a subscription to Amazon Prime or Prime Video and offers free games, a free monthly Twitch channel subscription where available and in-game bonuses like FC 24 gaming packs, Overwatch character skins and Pokemon GO Super Potions. On top of all this, Amazon Prime members get free access to Prime Video, Prime Music and Deliveroo Plus.
There are plenty of Amazon deals available on physical titles in the Fallout franchise, including the bonus-packed Fallout 76: Tricentennial Edition on PS4 for £9.95 and Xbox One for £16.99. Other titles include Fallout 4 on PS4 for £18.77.

The deals come as Amazon’s Fallout series has fans hailing it as “one of the best video-game adaptations” ever and “on par with The Last of Us.” Starring Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins, the series follows a new and original story set in the world of the games that takes place 200 years after the apocalypse as a Vault Dweller must traverse the irradiated United States in search of her kidnapped father.
Fallout has earned overwhelmingly positive reviews and boasts a Certified Fresh 94 percent Rotten Tomatoes score. All eight episodes are available to binge with an Amazon Prime subscription, which usually costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year, but audiences can watch the entire series absolutely free if they sign up for a 30-day free trial.

Alternatively, Disney+ offers a range of new shows, including the upcoming Star Wars series, The Acolyte. TV fans can get the equivalent of two months free with an annual subscription to Disney’s Standard or Premium plans, while those that prefer to pay monthly can now join the budget-friendly ‘with Ads’ plan for £4.99.
