A total of 84,932 people are registered as completely unemployed as of June 15. Furthermore, 68,986 are partially unemployed, while 17,265 are jobseekers on NAV measures. The proportion of the labor force that is completely unemployed is now down to 3%.
A total of 1.9% of the workforce, 54,643, are laid off. Of these, 19,331 are completely unemployed and laid off, while 35,260 are partially unemployed and laid off.
Applications for unemployment benefits have decreased steadily since March but increased somewhat in week 23. A total of 2,935 people applied for unemployment benefits in week 23, 159 more compared to the week before.
