Dolphins half Anthony Milford has been hit with a two-match ban for an off-the-ball hit on Broncos star Reece Walsh.
Late in the first half, Milford hit Walsh hard despite the fullback not having the ball, although Kotoni Staggs did dummy the ball to him.
Milford appeared to try and apologise, however he didn’t concede a penalty after Staggs was offside in the kick chase.

Anthony Milford has been banned for this hit.
However, the 29-year-old was put on report by referee Adam Gee.
“Totally unnecessary from Milford, that’s a brain explosion,” League icon Paul Vautin said on Nine’s coverage.

The match review committee handed Milford a two-match suspension, which could increase to three if he appeals and is found guilty at the judiciary.
Broncos second-rower Jordan Riki was also hit with a grade one careless high tackle for a shot he put on Jack Bostock in the first half.
Riki has been handed a $1000 fine.
Brisbane went on to win the game 28-14.
