Policemen chased and nabbed a Chinese who tried to flee from and shot at arresting officers on Monday night.
The PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group was about to serve a warrant of arrest against the suspect when he resisted and opened fire.
It was then that the PNP-AKG operatives called for back-up from the Taguig City police.
“Nagkameron ng chase. It’s a running gunbattle. And before that maraming sasakyan ang tinamaan na na-damage nila. And they end up here in the circle. Dito sila na-corner,” Taguig chief of police Police Col. Robert Baesa said.
