Samsung Electronics’ latest product, the ‘Galaxy Book 4 series,’ is seeing increased popularity with a significant rise in initial sales compared to its predecessor. According to Samsung Electronics on Jan. 11, domestic sales of the ‘Galaxy Book 4′ series saw a 1.5 percent increase in the first week after its launch compared to the previous model. Sales of the ‘Galaxy Book 4 Pro’ and ‘Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360′ each rose by 1.4 times, while the ‘Galaxy Book 4 Ultra’ more than doubled its sales.
The ‘Galaxy Book 4 Pro’ led overall sales, making up about 70 percent of the total. Offered in both 16-inch and 14-inch models, the 16-inch variant showed slightly higher popularity. The concurrently released ‘Galaxy Book 4 Ultra’ and ‘Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360′ have also received positive reviews. The ‘Galaxy Book 4 Ultra’ features an external graphics card, the ‘NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40′ series, ensuring high performance for games and graphic tasks. The ‘Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360′ includes a 360-degree rotating display.
The success of the ‘Galaxy Book 4 series’ is attributed to a combination of advanced display technology, AI (Artificial Intelligence) performance, seamless connectivity with Galaxy smartphones, and effective initial promotions. All models in the ‘Galaxy Book 4 series’ are equipped with a high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X Touch Display. The newly integrated Intel Core Ultra Processor is the first Intel processor to include an NPU (Neural Processing Unit), enhancing AI performance in various user environments.
Highlighting the convenience of connecting the Galaxy Book series with Galaxy smartphones and tablets as a key advantage, the company has introduced new features with the ‘Galaxy Book 4 series’ release. These include ‘Samsung Studio’ for the seamless continuation of video editing from smartphones to PCs and ‘Photo Remaster,’ a feature that transforms old photos or low-resolution images into higher quality visuals.
