Die Thuner Leichtathletinnen und Leichtathleten schafften an den Vereinsmeisterschaften den Aufstieg in die Nationalliga B.

© Foto: PD Die Stimmung war bei den beiden Thuner Teams nach dem Aufstieg auf dem Höhepunkt.

«Gemeinsam geht es besser»: Unter diesem Motto wurde vor Jahren die Leichtathletikgemeinschaft (LG) Thun, bestehend aus der LV Thun und den All Blacks Thun, gegründet. Während der Stammverein LV Thun die technischen Disziplinen und Sprints abdeckt, stellen die All Blacks vor allem im Mittel- und Langstreckenbereich ihre Athleten.

Dieses Teamwork machte sich dieses Jahr gleich im doppelten Sinne bezahlt. An den Schweizer Vereinsmeisterschaften in Ibach kamen in jeder der zwölf Disziplinen zwei Athleten in die Wertung.

Staffelrekord und Disziplinensiege

Die Frauenstaffel stellte mit 47,33 einen neuen Vereinsrekord auf. Auch Céline Bürgi (100 m) und Speerwerferin Sabrina Boss sorgten für Thuner Siege. Bei den Männern resultierten gar vier Disziplinensiege: von Robin Oester (400 und 800 m), Fabio Luginbühl (Weit) und Joey Hadorn (3000 m). Die Teams konnten in einigen Disziplinen gar Doppelsiege feiern.

Damit treten beide Thuner Teams nächstes Jahr in der NLB an. Sie werden dabei auch auf die LG Bern treffen, die mit beiden Teams aus der NLA abgestiegen ist.
