Nottingham Beach – City by the Sea

Escape the landlocked reality and bask in the summer vibes as Old Market Square turns into Nottingham Beach later this year. From July to September, experience the City by the Sea, featuring rides, food stalls, events, and a beach bar. A firm favourite in the region, letting you soak up the sun and sand, without having to drive all the way to Skeg!

Splendour Festival

Music enthusiasts, mark your calendars for the return of one of the East Midlands’ largest music festivals. Nottinghamshire’s largest annual music festival promises a number of top headlines from across the world of music. Following the footsteps of Madness and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in 2023, this year’s line-up is bound to strike a chord with music lovers.

Goose Fair

Goose Fair is part of the local culture almost as much as Robin Hood. Come autumn, the Forest Recreation Ground will once again transform into the funfair we all know and love. Boasting over 250 rides and attractions, the fair will be a must-visit in Nottingham’s events calendar.

Bramley Apple Festival

The National Water Sports Centre also takes centre stage over the same weekend, hosting the British Rowing Club Championships.
