Two teenage girls have allegedly been sexually assaulted in public toilets at Melbourne’s popular Federation Square.
Police allege the incident happened in the toilets near the building off Flinders St about 2pm on May 5 this year.
Police said two 15-year-old girls were in the toilets when they were allegedly sexually assaulted by a man they had met earlier that day at a nearby fast food restaurant on Swanston St.
On Wednesday, Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives released CCTV footage of a man they believe can assist with their investigation.
