Planning a spring break or summer vacation trip just got easier with new routes from Frontier Airlines.
This week, the airline announced 16 new routes including flights to Austin, Boston, Jacksonville, Myrtle Beach, and Pensacola. The new routes will originate from either Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) or the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
And fortunately for us, Frontier is running a fare sale with discounts as low as $19 on the base fare.
The discounted fares must be purchased by Feb. 16 at 11:59 pm. The fare sale has several restrictions including blocked off dates for certain routes, with full details on Frontier’s website.
From CLE, Frontier will operate new service to Houston Bush (IAH), Jacksonville (JAX), New Orleans (MSY), and Charleston (CHS) four times a week. The airline will also begin service to Myrtle Beach (MYR), Austin (AUS), Savannah (SAV), Salt Lake City (SLC), Pensacola (PNS) and Baltimore (BWI) three times a week, the airline shared in a release. All of the new services will start in May 2024.
The airline previously announced new daily service to New York’s LaGuardia (LGA) airport starting on April 10.
“We’re thrilled to connect consumers in Northeast Ohio with low fares to even more destinations throughout the U.S. Our new crew base at CLE set to open in March will help support our rapidly growing operations,” Frontier’s CEO Barry Biffle said in a statement.
From CVG, Frontier will operate 57 percent more daily departures from 2023, with new direct service to Boston (BOS), Houston’s George Bush Airport (IAH), Charlotte (CLT) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL) four times a week. The airline will also begin service to Pensacola (PNS), Portland, Maine (PWM), and Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) three times a week. All of the new routes begin operation in May 2024, according to the airline.
Similar to Cleveland, the airline previously announced new daily service from CVG to New York’s LaGuardia Airport starting on April 10.
