Türkiye ile ABD arasında terörle mücadele istişareleri yapıldı

Ankara’da, Türkiye ve Amerika Birleşik Devletleri (ABD) arasında terörle mücadele istişareleri gerçekleştirildi.

Diplomatik kaynaklardan edinilen bilgiye göre, mart ayında Washington’da gerçekleştirilen Türkiye-ABD Stratejik Mekanizması’nda varılan mutabakat uyarınca iki ülke arasındaki terörle mücadele istişareleri, Dışişleri Bakanlıkları başkanlığında 22 Nisan’da Ankara’da yapıldı. ABD Dışişleri Bakanlığı Terörle Mücadele Koordinatörü Büyükelçi Elizabeth Richard’ın Türkiye’yi ziyaretinden ve samimi şekilde geçen görüş alışverişinden memnuniyet duyulduğu belirtildi.

Dışişleri Bakanlığı’nda ilgili Türkiye ve ABD kurumlarının katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen toplantıda, PKK/YPG/PYD, DHKP/C, DEAŞ ve FETÖ terör örgütleri de dahil olmak üzere ulusal güvenlikle bağlantılı birçok konu ele alındı. Türkiye’nin terörle mücadelede engin deneyime sahip ve bu mücadeleyi kararlılıkla sürdüren bir ülke olarak müttefikleri ve terörle mücadelede kararlı tüm ülkelerle terörün her türlü şekli ve tezahürüne karşı mücadele etmek amacıyla samimi işbirliğine devam edeceği belirtildi.
