‘mere dil ki baat…’: pm modi requests people to climb down towers in telangana | video

At a rally in Nirmal, Telangana- Prime Minister Narendra Modi requests people to come down who climbed the towers while he was delivering the speech.

In an ANI video, he speaks as people cheer for him, “I realise due to the crowd many of you standing far away cannot see me properly but if anyone falls, it is going to upset me a lot.”

He politely added, “please come down friends.. please please,” pointing at the people who climbed the tower.

He further apologised to people who were not able to see him and added that he is still going to convey to them his most sincere regards and message.

In a similar incident, two weeks ago at a rally in Telangana itself, PM Modi requested a woman to come down who had climbed up a light tower. He urged her to come down immediately as there could a potential short circuit due to faulty wiring.

The woman later agreed and moved down after assurances from the Prime Minister that he would address her issues.

This incident took place when PM Modi went to address a Madiga community rally in the state. The Madiga community is one of the biggest constituents of scheduled castes in Telugu states.

During his address, the Prime Minister accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of pledging welfare programs for the state’s citizens but delivering what he termed as ‘scams.’

He went on to suggest that KCR prioritized the interests of his own family over aiding the children of the state.

Speaking at a rally in the run-up to the elections in Telangana, Modi remarked, “KCR pledged schemes but ended up offering only scams. Instead of advocating for your children, he focused on his own and his relatives’ interests. He engaged in scams worth crores of rupees, accumulating wealth. The farmers of Telangana have resolved to permanently relocate him to his farmhouse.”
