Tube passengers step in as thug hurls abuse at young woman

Angry man confronts woman on Tube (CrimeLDN)

A young woman confronted by an abusive male on the Tube had to be protected by fellow commuters.

In a video posted on social media, the man appears to randomly shout: “I’ll knock you the f*** out, you c***.”

The tense stand-off happened on Friday night as the thug yelled across a carriage on the Central line.

It is unclear what sparked the row on the eastbound service.

But he screams “Come on then!” and accuses her of “hiding behind the fact that you’re a woman”.

He adds: “Come on, step to me, step to me, step to me. I dare you, I f***ing dare you.”

The male appears to call her a “p***y” for staying where she is and not moving towards him.

He then shouts: “Oh I’m such a horrible man because I f***ing said I’d smack you in the mouth.”

Passengers step in to stop confrontation (CrimeLDN)

Her response is inaudible but the man moves closer towards her saying: “I’ll knock you the f*** out you c***.”

She smiles at him and he appears to add: “If you can me a c***, I’ll call you a c***.”

He is then caught on camera storming down the middle of the carriage and squaring up to her.

A number of passengers then jump from their seats to pull the man away from her and onto the floor.

British Transport Police said no arrests have been made as the incident was unreported at the time.

A spokesman said: “We are aware of this video that is being circulated on social media and our officers are looking into it further.

“We’re asking anyone with further details to text us on 61016 with the reference 681 of 16/10/21.
