Tsitsipas is still vaccinated after criticism: ‘My opinion on this doesn’t really matter’ Tennis

Stefanos Tsitsipas will be vaccinated against the corona virus this year. The Greek tennis player previously expressed his doubts about the usefulness of vaccination and said that he would only be vaccinated if it became an obligation to participate in tournaments. That’s what the number three in the world is now coming back to.

“I am not against vaccines, I support anyone who wants to be vaccinated,” Tsitsipas told the TV channel antenna. The player was previously criticized by the Greek government for his expressed doubts.

Last year, when the corona pandemic brought social life to a standstill, Tsistipas spearheaded the campaign to stay at home as much as possible. ,,I’m not a doctor, but a tennis player and my opinion on this doesn’t really matter. But I will get vaccinated so that I can go to shops and restaurants again.”

The Greek health authorities announced on Monday that healthcare workers and people over 60 will receive a third shot.
