Mayyas, the Lebanese Dance Group recently went viral for their golden buzzer dance performance on America’s Got Talent. Mayyas won the sixth season of Arabs Got Talent in 2019 and even participated in Britain Got Talent the same year. They now hope to “hypnotize” and win the AGT prize of $1 million
Watch their performance below and watch Sofia Vergara press the golden buzzer for the dance performance. “There are no words to explain to you what we were feeling over here. It was the most beautiful, creative dancing I have ever seen,” says Vergara.
Mayyas, the group’s name is a word in Arabic that means the proud walk of a lioness. “This is to represent what Arab women, Lebanese women, can do.
