Polyamorous tobacco tycoon Travers Beynon has downplayed claims he ‘sexualises’ the harem of scantily clad women who live with him at his Gold Coast mansion.
The flamboyant businessman, known as ‘The Candyman’, was asked on The Morning Show about his wild lifestyle and the way he portrays his female companions.
Beynon, who has an estimated net worth of $200million, said he doesn’t ‘sexualise’ women any more than they do themselves on their own Instagram accounts.

‘I think if you look at my Instagram, I don’t sexualise women these days. I think they do that enough themselves on Instagram,’ the 50-year-old said.
Beynon, who lives with his wife Taesha and their girlfriends at the ‘Candy Shop Mansion’ on the Gold Coast, explained the growth of OnlyFans had made young women more comfortable expressing their sexuality on their own terms.
He went on to say successful businesswomen such as Kim Kardashian regularly share provocative content online, but are not called out for it.

‘Kim is always presenting provocative photos but she’s not looked upon as taking advantage of a woman’s body,’ he said.
Beynon, who rarely agrees to TV interviews, then answered questions about his personal life with a wife and live-in girlfriends.
‘What is the norm these days? Most of us have accepted gay marriage,’ he said, noting that polyamory isn’t so unusual anymore.

‘I live by the one rule: free choice. My relationship is my business, as is your business in your relationship,’ he added.
Beynon, who has been married to Taesha for 13 years, said his life philosophy was about ‘acceptance and inclusion without judgement’.
He added that the entire household feels like a family unit and there aren’t any Kardashian-style arguments.

‘I have a big family and I run a business,’ he said.
‘We want to be a family unit and that means everyone has to get on.’
‘It’s not about bitchiness or anything like that, like you see in these reality shows. It’s not what we are trying to achieve. We are trying to achieve a family.’
