Tottenham are proposing to sign midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on loan from Fiorentina with an option to buy for £13.4m.
The 25-year-old – currently away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Morocco – is reportedly keen on a move to play under Antonio Conte in north London.
Spurs are waiting for PSG to agree terms on Tanguy Ndombele’s loan first, amid offers from Valencia and Everton.

A £13m option to buy the midfielder – currently away with Morocco at AFCON – has also been proposed by Spurs
Amrabat has started in just one of his 11 Serie A appearances this season – which came in the 1-0 defeat at Venezia in mid-October – but played the full 90 minutes on his 31st appearance for his nation as they set up a AFCON quarter-final with Egypt after beating Malawi in the round of 16.
The midfielder, born in Holland to Moroccan parents, previously represented the likes of Utrecht, Feyenoord, Club Brugge and Hellas Verona prior to his move to Hellas Verona.
But he looks set to be high on Conte’s list as the Italian looks to strengthen his squad by the end of the January transfer window.
Porto winger Luis Diaz and Wolves counterpart Adama Traore are also understood to be targets for Spurs.

Spurs are however waiting for PSG to agree terms on Tanguy Ndombele’s loan first
But they will also be working on exits ahead of Monday’s deadline, though ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino remained coy on PSG’s pursuit of outcast Ndombele.
‘I’m not talking about Ndombele because he’s not in our club,’ Pochettino said earlier this week. ‘PSG are open to progress, to improve.
‘I think everything is open – one week left (in the transfer window).’
