El director ejecutivo de McLaren , Zak Brown, ya manifestó que el número de currículos procedentes de Red Bull es elevado, y ahora el jefe del equipo Mercedes , Toto Wolff, confirma que lo mismo ocurre en su escudería.

Debido a la situación que rodea a Christian Horner, las cosas han estado revueltas en Red Bull Racing durante mucho tiempo. Como consecuencia, varios miembros del equipo han decidido revisar sus opciones. Por ejemplo, ya se ha anunciado que Adrian Newey dejará el equipo el año que viene y Max Verstappen está en conversaciones con Mercedes.

En cuanto a la llegada de Newey, el austriaco no puede decir mucho. “Adrian es un icono del deporte y creo que ha dicho que aún no sabe qué hacer y no sé qué influencia tiene eso en nosotros”.
