Tornadoes tear through southeastern US as storms leave 3 dead
What’s that flag in front of Las Vegas going? All kinds of ways? Oh my gosh, John. Oh, there goes, there it goes. Oh my heavens. That was a tornado. Since approximately 3:00 PM today, the Gaston County Communications Center has processed approximately 1200 calls for service related to severe weather. Additionally, we’re expecting another storm around 2:00 AM tonight. Therefore, we advise residents to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel. Storm came into Gaston County, uprooted trees, and did a lot to our thoroughfares of trying to get some of our roadways cleared, but also a lot of power lines are down. We did have one fatality today during that episode. But we also Jim’s had one birth as well that they administer, so that was bringing into life. We responded to multiple trees on cars and multiple trees on houses. The only fatality was tree on a car. I was on one in a mobile home where it had been knocked off the foundation and there were three big tree through the roof in multiple places.
